Edinburgh Game & Country Fair

Hopetoun House is one of the most splendid examples of
Georgian architecture in Britain being the work of Scottish architects
Sir William Bruce and William Adam.
Situated just outside Edinburgh, the House is set in 150 acres of
rolling parkland with extensive woodland walks, breathtaking visits
on the River Forth and a deer park.
Hopetoun has been the home of the Earls of Hopetoun, later created
Marquesses of Linlithgow, since it was built in 1699 and part of
the House is still lived in today by the present Marquess and his
family.
